With three award-winning photojournalists serving as editors and coaches, students in this intensive, hands-on workshop will learn the power of the visual narrative and how to create compelling picture stories and photo essays. To apply: Submit portfolios of single images or a series of images, or any combination as long as the total doesn’t exceed 40 images to info@focusonthestory.com. Applicants should put “Narrative Workshop” in the subject field and include a short paragraph that summarizes their experience and photographic goals. Portfolios can be submitted via a file-sharing service or with a link to an online gallery. Portfolios must be received by close of business April 3, with applicants notified by April 20 whether they’ve been accepted to the workshop.
